Blue Angel Sideshow was a month-long R&D program at Locust Projects in which I researched and utilized the color Haint (Blue) to develop an oracle deck, music, a performance, and a talk. The research dove into the color’s social history and mystical uses throughout the Southern United States. Once the deck (titled Ocean Deck, made of 66 cards with designs all intuited within 66 minutes and painted using only the colors Haint, Black, and White) was developed, 1 run of 25 was printed and distributed throughout the city.
